One Set: Glory, Polluted Beauty, Latin Tang, Hein Hod's Hoddle -> The Hook -> Hein Hod's Hoddle, Doinkinbonk!!!, Hallelujah, Brick of Barley, Hatti's Jam -> When It Rains, It Pours Show Notes: Grubby Bean 12/4/13 - "This might be my favorite show of the entire November tour. There was such a great crowd, half the crowd came just for twiddle, some traveling pretty far, the other half came for the really interesting avante-garde local band with eight members (I'm forgetting the name at the moment, sorry), but they stayed and got twiddled; the front row in front of the stage had about ten incredible dancers who had enough room to really move; one of the dancers was dressed like she could have been right out of a late 50s beatnik coffeehouse, and she danced with wild abandon; the basement of the club had a vintage clothing store (open only during shows) where Mickey bought a really cool white shirt from the 60s with green embroidered pot leaves on the shoulders (reminiscent of Gram Parson's Nudie suit which we had seen just a few days earlier in Nashville); the street in front of the club was torn up for blocks, making it seem like the end of the world - we learned later that the club is only about two blocks away from where crack is sold on the street corners - and about a block from the shores of Lake Erie - very cool place. and the band really rose to the occassion - this has the second time played for Hallelujah, a great version - the entire show was inspired. Thanks for taping it Andy."
